SB 1204 – An Act amending Title 51 (Military Affairs) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, changing the name of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs; further providing for the State Veterans' Commission and the Deputy Adjutant General for Veterans' Affairs; establishing the Department of Veterans Affairs, the bureaus within the department and the State Veterans Commission; providing for the powers and duties of the Department of Veterans Affairs and its bureaus; and making conforming amendments and editorial changes. 

SB 1271 – An Act amending Title 51 (Military Affairs) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for the National Guard Youth Challenge Program.

SB 1390 (Waugh is a co-sponsor) -  An Act amending Title 51 (Military Affairs) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, further providing for blind veterans' pensions and for paralyzed veterans' pensions.

SB 1391 (Waugh is a co-sponsor) -  An Act amending Title 51 (Military Affairs) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, further providing for educational gratuity payments.

RESOLUTIONS

HR 216 – A Concurrent Resolution memorializing Congress to designate September 11 as "National Emergency Responders' Day," declaring September 11 as "Pennsylvania Emergency Responders' Day" and recognizing emergency responders for their valuable service.

HR 296 - A Concurrent Resolution opposing implementation of costly Federal standards imposed under the REAL ID Act of 2005 (REAL ID Act).

SR 8 - A Resolution recognizing the invaluable contributions of war dog teams to United States military efforts since World War I.

SR 39 - A Resolution opposing military escalation in Iraq.

SR 122 - A Resolution commemorating June 10, 2007, as "Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans Day"; and expressing appreciation for the special commitment and service of these veterans to the United States.

SR 191 (Waugh is a co-sponsor) -  A Resolution urging the Congress of the United States to provide benefits to certain individuals who served in the United States Merchant Marines, including the Army Transport Service and the Naval Transport Service, during World War II.

SR 321 – A Resolution memorializing the President and the Congress of the United States to enact bill S.70 of 2007, restoring the traditional day of observance of Memorial Day.
