Waugh to Participate in Hydrocephalus Awareness Press Conference 

HARRISBURG – Senator Mike Waugh (R-York) and Representative Eugene DePasquale (D-York) will host a press conference on Monday, November 9, 2009, at 12:30pm in the Capitol Rotunda to recognize November as Hydrocephalus Awareness Month. 

During the press conference Waugh will present a copy of Senate Resolution 206, which he sponsored, along with 23 additional co-sponsors, in response to a constituent request.  The resolution, adopted unanimously on October 9th, designates November 2009, as Hydrocephalus Awareness Month. 

Hydrocephalus is the abnormal buildup of cerebrospinal fluids on the brain affecting an estimated 1 million Americans.  There is no known cure for this very serious neurological condition.
